I read the interview report with Mr Andy Ong of ERC in yesterday’s The Sunday Times.   I have attended Andy’s Ong free seminar talks before and I walked away, feeling impressed at this self-made multi-millionaire. It is hence very natural for me to find out more about Andy by digesting the interview article within minutes.

I am perspiring this minute as I blog. It is super hot tonight as yesterday night. Despite switching on the fan at full blast, I am still coated with sweat in this super hot and humid weather. These afternoons have not be less hot either. The afternoon sun is so strong that my usually wet toilet floor becomes dry these days.

Yesterday, my wife and I went to Ikea Tampines. Before our shopping, we went to Ikea eatery and we ordered 6 pieces of crispy fried chicken-wing-cum-drumstick at a price of $1.90 for 2.

It was the last day of tour in Italy.   After the evening dinner, our tour group was left to roam on the streets, though most of the group headed back to the hotel. The tour guide was especially relaxed today and unlike the earlier days of the tour, he did not ask the tour group to assemble after dinner. I ate my dinner alone and then left the restaurant.

I loved to play with legos when I was young. With the lego modules, I could build up forms and structures and translate thoughts into reality! Legoland is a theme park with its theme on legos. Lee Lip Hong, the name of the principal, among 43 others charged with having commercial sex with under-18 girl did not come as a surprise to me when his and the names of the other offenders were announced as I have previously came across the possibility of Lee Lip Hong being the one as shared in my earlier post .

I am not too good in using Photoshop or other image-editing software but today I manage to create an image from combining other existing image images I have for free. I am proud of this simple feat and wish to introduce this method to anyone who needs to combine several images, enlarge or scale down onto or along with other images.

Due to the necessities of life, many people work to earn a living. Working constitutes a large part of one’s life and hence it is good if one enjoys his work. I have no prejudice against smokers; it is just that I find the worst invention ever by human is the cigarette. A cigarette harms the health of not only the smoker but also the people around the smoker. In my case, my family and I have to endure the passive smoke emanated by my neighbours all around despite having closed the windows tightly. A smoker can also save thousands of dollars just by giving up smoking.

I ate Mcdonalds today as a result of "no choice". Faced with the msg-laden food sold at other stalls at around $3 or $4, I decided Mcdonalds $4.50 value meal is a better proposition.

I watched the movie "Mirror Mirror" with my wife at a Golden Village cinema today. It is an excellent movie. The plot is unlike that of the original Snow White Story. The plot is hilarious, touching and original. The animation graphic is excellent.

Today, as I was walking on level one of a heartland shopping centre, I saw Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew in a short-sleeved shirt and a three-quarter pants holding a bottle of mineral water walking in the direction opposite me.

There was a recent incident in which a commuter on a SMRT train found himself/herself scalded by an unknown liquid on the seat he/she has taken. Today, as I entered the MRT train, I and some commuters were shocked to see a small patch on blood on a seat. I took the vacant seat next to this stained seat.

Today is the second day of long weekend. For international readers, in Singapore a long weekend is defined as a continual stretch of rest days, normally from Friday to Sunday. Before this current long weekend, I have made a list of tasks to complete, however as the long weekend comes, I find myself very busy with my family and children, hence there is not much of a personal time to do my tasks.

I believe many people are very familiar with the innocuous NTUC Fairprice receipt. That particular slip of paper which is generated every time a purchase is done at the NTUC Fairprice supermarkets. I would just want to know how much money is spent on generating each of these Fairprice receipts? The cost may not be small as printed at the back of each receipt are coloured snapshots of selected items sold at the Supermarkets.

The blockbuster “Titanic” was screened more than a decade ago but now this thriller is making a comeback to movie screens in 3D. I think this movie will still receive record viewership despite it being an old flim.

I watched the Championship finals between China and Singapore. Though I have not much confidence that our team can win our superior opponent, I was very disappointed that our local team did not win even a single set!

Words, oral or written have consequences. Sometimes, I am not careful with words which lead to undesired circumstances. Words, written also will have consequences. As reported, the police seem to have tracked down those who disseminated baseless SMS of alleged kidnapping cases.

Today is April Fool's day. I am not sure how many people still celebrate the spirit of April Fool's: cracking jokes or playing tricks on others today but I think in this internet era, playing an April Fool's joke on the internet needs to be a careful affair.
