Going out

My wife and I went to Orchard Road yesterday and we were frustrated at our outing. The train we took was packed beyond the saturation point and so too were the shopping centres we visited. We do not really like to shop, just that we want to take a little breather away from our hectic work on this long weekend.

But as we shopped, we grew increasingly frustrated… there were too many people, foreign talents especially who have flooded and stretched our public infrastructure beyond their limits. We do not like shopping but to do so occasionally, jostling with the maddening crowds is just so infuriating that we think we would want to be embraced by Mother Nature once again by going for treks in the nature reserves.
