What day is it tomorrow?
Every year, everyone knows 14 Feb is the day when lovers get together to celebrate their love together.
In Japan and Korea, Valentine's Day is a day for females to present chocolate gifts usually to a member of the male gender as an expression of love. On White Day, the men who receive the chocolate on Valentine's Day are expected to return the favour by giving gifts, usually more expensive to the women.
Come Mar 14 every year which is tomorrow, Japan and Korea will celebrate 'White Day', when the male lover will buy and give to his beloved at least a box of chocolates or something pricier.
In addition, Korea celebrates Black Day (솔로부대) one month after White Day which is April 14. On this particular day, single people go out together and eat noodles with black bean sauce called Jjajangmyeon (짜장면).
In Singapore, the equivalent of this noodles, in my opinion, will be char kway teow, fried and cooked in black soya sauce. So on this day, char kway teow stall will have their coffers ringing.
