Segways on Sentosa

There is now a novel way of getting around Sentosa: Segways.
Segways are quite common in Europe but they are not commonly seen in Singapore though I have often witness foreign executives from other offices riding on these environmentally-friendly transport to get to the different places in the giant office complex where I work in.
To rent a segway, here is the breakdown of the rental charges:
3 min: $10
40 min: $35
60 min: $45
Wow, this mode of transport is not cheap!

Performance Bonus

It is the time of the year civil servants receive their performance bonuses (PBs). In the coming two weeks, civil servants will not only receive their performance bonuses, special ‘growth bonuses’, would also await them for the very first time. These PBs and growth bonuses are only applicable to performers, defined as officers with assessed performance gradings above the ‘D’ grade. Typically, civil servants receive their performance bonuses in March, a 0.5 month of bonus in July and a 13th month plus AVC in December. Are all the bonuses good? To be frank, the bonuses dished out in Civil Service are averages at best. SINGAPORE HAZE IMPROVING?

The haze seems to take a turn for the better. At least from my windows at home, I can see the surroundings. But from the haze website, the PSI is still above 100 which is unhealthy. I long for a jog, I have not had one for few months. I was thinking of jogging some weeks ago, if not because of the haze. True, I could turn to the gyms but jogging on the treadmill is no fun, it cannot compares with running outdoors. I jogged only for a very few times on the threadmill before my arm will inadvertently swang and hit the "Stop" button on the threadmill and then my jogging routine will come to a stop before the intended duration of jog.
