New millionaires will be minted this coming Friday when the $5 million TOTO draw takes place. Normally this kind of grand draw will attract the number of punters multiple size of the norm. Hence I believe there will be more than 1 winner and the pie will get smaller with that. Nevertheless, I am still placing a bet in the draw as doing so will still give me a chance to win the coveted sum, no matter how minute that possibility will be! If one does not buy, then he will have no chance at all.

In today's Sunday Times, there was again a feature on the pricey bungalows here in Singapore. I was appalled to read that a foreign High Net Worth Individual (HWNI) has asked the property agent whether she has made a mistake in the price tag of $15 million for a bungalow. The reason is that the buyer could not believe the price as it was too cheap (as compared to bungalows of such in the rest of the world)!
Indeed, with the rise of China and India as the main engines of the global economy, many many people are getting very very rich! In Singapore, the number of millionaires, with a liquidity of US $1 million amount to 61,000 and more! The other time, people in Singapore are searching for the answer to the question: "How to be a millionaire?" but with the number of millionaires growing so rapidly in Singapore, the question now is "How to be a MULTI- millionaire in Singapore?" (i.e the benchmark of wealth rachets up a few notches)
In Singapore, a multi-millionaire is someone with a net worth of at least US $10 million to hundreds of millions in net liquidity, excluding housing. The routes to becoming such multi-millionaires would be to be an astute investor, or open up a successful business, be involved in property businesses (since land in Singapore is so scare) or to do well in Sales.
Talking about Sales, let us focus back on property agents. Today's Sunday Times features an ordinary young (29 years old) property agent, except for the fact that she specialises in selling the Sentosa Cove properties! Wow! As she has said in the article, many property agents in Singapore aspire to be in her leagues. Why is that so? Let us just see the following few cases:
Tom, a property agent sold a 4-room resales flat for $400K, his comission at 1% amounts to $4,000.
Next, let us turn to the property agent who sold the Sentosa Cove property at $36 million, assuming his comission to be minimum 1%, he or she earns a comission of $360,000! for just one transaction!
However, like the lady property agent we talked about earlier, these propery agents do not just sell one bungalow, being a specialist of such high-worth bungalows, they do keep selling and imagine, they can easily earn $1,000,000 from just selling 4 to 10 houses, assuming each is sold at minimum $10 million!
Hence, if you want to to be a multi-millionaire in Singapore, but do not want to open a business to achieve your dreams, consider servicing these mega-millionaires by being private bankers, property agents, insurance agents to them and get their referrals to introduce their other HNWI friends to you, and in no time, you will be earning millions at a very young age.
If you do not like sales or to open up a business, the other way is to do well in school and cocurricular activities, get a scholarship for a fast tracked career.
The basic principle of being rich is to do something you like, and do it well and monies will in turn come to you. for example, very famous movie stars, lawyers and soccer players do earn millions by pursuing their hobbies.
On this note, I sum off my article. Everyone wants to be a millionaire and the only way to do so is finding out your niche and taking actions towards your goals. Along the way, determination and perservance will help you stay the course.

So how to win the coming TOTO lottery draw? Well, you would need to be unbiased and pick some numbers that are really unique. I can tell you for most people, their minds will still choose a few of their favorite numbers no matter how random they want their pick of the numbers to be. So how to choose more random numbers that fall outside the psyche of your brain? Well, the simplest and easiest way is to use an automated computer program.
You do not need to invest in a lot of money to buy a lottery program or a TOTO program to generate your lucky numbers. If you have a computer, most likely you would have the Microsoft Excel Program and in that program, there is a random function which can help you to generate random numbers at absolutely no cost at all. Here is the function to type in the formula bar of an Excel spreadsheet:
Insert this function 6 times to select 6 random numbers for the minimum bid at $0.50 for the TOTO draw and who knows, you could take home the $5 million this coming Friday.
And if you do win this amount using my tip above, do not forget me loh!

Wow, that is really a large sum of money! If my lifetime, I dun even know whether I can have a liquid asset excluding of property of Singapore $1 million! Mr Choo's salary in year 2009 is really shocking and astronomical!
I always thought the salaries of our President and Prime Minister in the leagues of $3 to 4 millions is already very high. Ministers in Singapore earn between $1 million to $2 million annually while top civil servants also earn an annual income closing to $1 million dollars which in my opinion are really good salaries too!
Everyone wants to be a millionaire and want to learn to be a millionaire. The road to earning lots of monies is not an easy one unless you strike out to be an entrepreneur and a profit making one! People I know of take the route of investing to generate some good profits.

According to the Ministry of Education's Graduate Employment Survey (GES) 2009, most university graduates managed to clinch a full-time permanent job within 6 months of leaving school, its seem they did not feel the brunt of the bleak economic conditions the world witnessed last year.
Now for their starting salaries:
median pay for graduates from a majority of programmes at Singapore's three publicly funded universities: at least $2,500
Median pay for graduates from business, accountancy, economics and arts in each of the three universities: $2,300 and $3,200.
Median pay for National University of Singapore graduates from its Business School's bachelor of business administration honours programme: $3,000
Singapore Management University's economics graduates median income:$3,000while those awarded cum laude and above earned a median salary of $3,200. Those under its accountancy and business management classes were paid a median $2,500 and $2,800, respectively.
Over at Nanyang Technological University, accountancy and business graduates saw a median pay of $2,400 and $2,700.

Every employee has an income to sustain him and his family as well as the monthly mortages when one buy a house. However, who does not want to be rich? To augment one’s income beside the monthly income he earns from his employer, there are many ways people have explored.
Some people have secondary professions or part time jobs after their office hours. However, this secondary profession is acceptable legally only if the main employer gives the nod else it will be called ‘moonlighting’. People who ‘moonlights’ do it quietly and stealthily behind their bosses and colleagues. Such secondary professions can include multi-level marketing, part-time tutoring, part-time real estate and part-time insurance, just to list a few popular choices.
Other than these, to earn extra income, some would turn to making some few bucks online or adopting a good investment strategy to beat the inflation rates. Having discussed these methods, we should turn to the number 1 method that Singaporeans use to earn extra income …in a quick and lucrative method and that is to buy the lottery which includes TOTO and 4D!
I will not touch on other forms of gambling such as underground casinos or the high-end gambling in the Integrated Resorts, but undeniably 4D and to a little extent, TOTO, are immensely popular with Singaporeans.
Singaporeans being pragmatic, 4D and TOTO is the most appropriate game for Singapore as if one has a lucky number, he would win lots of money in a short time, without much effort, save for the tens of minutes of queuing up.
There are people whom I heard of, analyzing how to win 4D and TOTO. This is actually difficult but it is possible as we are actually trying to make some sense of order to a field of randomness and unpredictability as 4D and TOTO. There are also quite a handful of others who go overseas frequently to pray (and return favours) to strike 4D and TOTO and no kidding you, they have been winning on a regular basis! (but if I were them, I will be scared as we are playing with supernatural powers!).
With weekend coming, I wish you win the 4D if you are a regular punter! Good luck!

I envy entrepreneurs, the entrepreneurs who make not only a living from their passion but large amounts of money all within a matter of few hours everyday!
For these entrepreneurs, it is definitely a win-win situation! First of all, they are able to make huge chunks of money, next they have more time at their disposal.
Like other employees who clock the 9 to 5 routine and more everyday, it is such a wonder to see, read or hear these entrepreneurs earning some $2000 for just few hours of work. What we, normal, typical employees earn per month, these entrepreneurs can earn easily within few hours!
Just yesterday, the Sunday Times reported how the wealthy Success coaches of Singapore can easily $2000 per hour! But before you start to worship these lucky and bold few who decide to cut it out as an entrepreneur, entrepreneurship is not all about successes.
There is an element of failure and there is no guarantee of a regular paycheck. So before you decide to step out and be a gungho entrepreneur, do take a few minutes to see whether you are ready for the entrepreneurial road ahead!
Meanwhile, to augment your income, you can still continue doing your investment, earn some money online or buy the usual TOTO and hope to strike it big.
Haiz, I am a poor soul, earning a “lesser mortal” salary, but one day, I hope to strike it big.
I am not greedy, just $1 million will do (Singapore has 66,000 and counting millionaires with a net asset of US $1 million in liquidity, not counting property)!

Since a few months ago, PayPerPost has been running two versions in parallel: PayPerPost version 3 as well as the newer version PayPerPost version 4. On 1 Dec 09, PayPerPost is officially on verison 4 platform while the older version has now migrated to InPostLinks.
What you see on PayPerPost before will now be on InPostLinks, just that there are no more opportunities, all these opportunities will now be found on the new PayPerPost while for bloggers of InPostLinks, all they have to do now is to put a link in their blogs to earn some income, no more endorsing of products or writing of reviews.

Have you buy yet? Buy what? Buy TOTO for this Friday's draw is going to reach S$10 million soon!If you are a regular punter, chances are that you would spend more for Friday's draw with this grand prize. If you are not a TOTO fan, there is still some chance you may want to spend at least 50 cent to wager a bet to see if you are the lucky one!
However, when it comes to such a grand draw, more punters also mean more sharing the top prize! It is not common to witness 8 or 9 people winning top TOTO prizes amounting to $9 to $11 million, thus each winner would win, in effect a million or so Singapore dollars.
Anyway, winning some hundreds thousands of dollars or a million Singapore dollars is already good enough. Singapore has 66,660 and counting people with US $1 million in liquidity excluding property. TOTO is always a good opportunity for one to be a member of this prestigious club.

How much insurance coverage do you think you as a Singaporean require? Many would say $100,000 would be enough. For others, they may not be having any insurance at all too. According to an article published in the Straits Times today, a typical average Singaporean would require an insurance coverage of $494,851, however the average Singaporean has just an average insurance coverage of only $165,628 with many falling short of this coverage amount!
Though the pace of life in Singapore is generally hectic, one must really sit down and plan for his retirement, his insurance coverage because time and tide really waits for no man! Before you know it, 10 years will be gone in a flash! I have always know that to grow your retirement amount, saving is not enough, what one must really do is to invest your money into unit trusts etc! However, I have not done that, as the rates of return really do fluctuate with time but generally one can still invest in blue-chip stocks and wait for a longer time horizon!
Money is really essential to living, we must start planning for our retirement and insurance today!

So I was pleasantly surprised when I learnt from the poster that the supermarket actually reward customers with a 10 cents off per $10 of money spent should they use a recycled bag.
It is such a Great idea! Saving mother earth and your cents while doing shopping!
More shops should take a leaf from NTUC!

Oh what a madness! Last time, the STI was trading at 3300 in its heyday, now it is languishing at such low prices!
Analysts warn the bottom for STI might not have been reached yet. Analysts predicted the STI may plummet to an all-time low of 1200!
Warren Buffet said:"Be fearful when others are greedy, be greedy when others are fearful", so are you feeling greedy or fearful now?
