Yam Ah Mee to join SMRT?

Yam Ah Mee will retire as PA's Chief Executive Director and as reported, he will be joining the private sector. I believe Yam Ah Mee, a former, RSAF BG, will join SMRT as its spokeperson. SMRT has not found an official spokeperson after Stephen Forshaw from Temasek rejected the role. Yam, as PA's Head will be well-poised to take on this role. Most importantly, Yam Ah Mee was previously the CEO of LTA and Deputy Secretary (Transport), hence he has domain knowledge and experience of land transport matters which would be useful!
