Why Heng Swee Keat’s management of Sun Xu’s comment may be closely watched?

Yesterday, Member of Parliament for Tampines GRC, Baey Yam Keng apologized in parliament for his comment that Singaporeans should reflect upon themselves when he spoke, some weeks ago regarding the Sun Xu ‘s news (comments).
In case readers do not follow with the recent news, Sun Xu, a PRC on Singapore’s Ministry of Education scholarship made a comment some weeks ago that there are more dogs than people in Singapore (from what I have read). His comment sparked a massive outcry in the internet and Sun Xu finally apologized.

I believe Tay Ping Hui will clinch the Best Actor Award in the Star Awards this year. Tay Ping Hui started his acting career 15 years ago in 1997. His first TV show was as co-actor together with Thomas Ong. I believe Tay will clinch this Best Actor Award this year finally.

The Fire Extinguisher video

I read in the newspapers today that there is a Youtube video circulating around in the internet, featuring a secondary school boy taking out the glass cover off a fire extinguisher and was shown spraying around with the fire extinguisher.

Extremely Hot weather

These few days, the weather has been especially hot! Even at night, there are hardly any winds to cool the blaze. I do not like hot weather. In Singapore, the hot weather is made even unbearable by the high humidity of our climate.

of Sex and Dogs

Singapore is awashed in the alleged sex incidents of public figures like the previous chiefs of SCDF and CNB -Peter Lim Sin Pang and Ng Boon Gay respectively- and the alleged extra-martial affairs of Yaw Sin Leong since late last month. Now these few whole episodes of extra-martial affairs of high profile figures begulfing Singapore finally culminate in a likely by-election in Hougang with the expulsion of Yaw Sing Leong from the Workers' Party.

Yaw Shin Leong , Steve Tan Peng Hoe. Jack Neo, Tiger Woods

I believe Yaw Shin Leong should really come out and tell Singaporeans whether he really has an affair with a fellow party colleague. The resignation of Yaw Shin Leong seems to fuel public's speculation that Yaw did really have an affair. If Yaw does not have an affair, he should really tell Singaporeans so.

Principal in online sex scandal

I read from the newspapers that the principal involved in the online sex scandal or online sex trade resigned as a primary school teacher in Dec 2011 and is famous in Singapore sporting fraternity. Though the media has not released the name of the principal involved in the online sex trade, a forumer has suggested who this prinicipal may be from thread 35 on this post on Sammyboy. More reading and photos in this webpage. However, as responsible Singaporeans, let us wait for the actual identity of the prinicipal to be published by the Straits Times before jumping to conclusion. But my question is why are the forumers in the webpages I have referenced in this blog post of mine sound so convicing?

Living in Singapore

Living in this modern country called Singapore where money weighs heavily on the minds of many Singaporeans due to the high cost of living, where there are close to 80,000 people having a net-worth of US $1 million, it can indeed be very stressful living on this tiny island.

Why Rescue 995 Channel 8 TV Show is the most important TV show for Mediacorp?

Tonight, Rescue 995 makes it debut on Channel 8 9pm timebelt. With the alleged corruption trial of Peter Lim Sin Pang and Ng Boon Gay ongoing, public confidence in our Home Team may have taken a hit, hence Rescue 995 is a show screened at the right time: to boost public confidence in our Home Team.
