My family and I tucked into the rich and savourly chocolate offerings at ninethirty in Joo Chiat after a sumptious meal of Laksa at Katong yesterday night. To be honest, a chocolate tart at $6 was not cheap but the taste is really awfully chocolate.
I have not spent that much on eating chocolate but my first time there at awfully chocolate is worth it as the chocolate is really something I will remember for quite a long time.
Yesterday was also another first for me, eating the largest bowl of Katong laksa I have ever eaten at $6 for a large bowl. $6 is just nice for me. I have tried the $4 laksa but it feels just like an appetizer to me. Meanwhile, my family and I noted that the equally-notable laksa stall across the street has closed down, replaced by a western bar.
