Window shopping may be enjoyable to many in this island dotted with shopping centres. One is able to enjoy the cool air-con and the whole of the unique shopping culture, without forking a single cent. To some, window shopping is also educational. I heard of some Singaporeans who would often enter into stores of different themes such as computers, books, health products, electrical appliances, etc and keep flooding the service personnel with a barrage of questions as they toss in their hands the products in the hands to which the service personnel though they are interested in. They leave the store without the product but with quite a good knowledge of the product they are interested in. To them shopping has become a form of education.
